Discover the historic Wieliczka Salt Mine on a guided tour through impressive underground chambers, tunnels and chapels carved in salt.
The underground Tourist Route includes numerous stairs, including a 378-step descent at the beginning, as well as uneven surfaces. The route is therefore not suitable for wheelchair users.
The temperature underground remains approximately 17–18°C throughout the year, so comfortable footwear and an additional layer of clothing are recommended.
